Re: Lights [working title]
Thanks, Karmafied for reading. Smile

I'm never going to publish it. I'm not good enough yet. If I finish this story though, it'll be like a practice. Then maybe I'll be ready to write one I can consider publishing. Right now there's a lot of work I need to do with my writing skill. =P But I do enjoy writing. =]

It's a shame you don't plan to try and publish this.  It's an amazing read.  As a writer myself, I know what you mean about when you begin writing the first chapter, you get so caught up you don't want it to end xD  So looking forward to the second chapter!

I said earlier I will post it tomorrow night or sometime during Sunday depending on how busy I am tomorrow. Wink Smile

Sorry for the wait but I needed to do a slight touch of editing and wanted to give anyone else a chance to read the chapter before a new one was posted.

Thanks you two, everyone's really inspiring me to continue, this is what I need. But I wont be publishing it... maybe if at the end I fix the problems and give it a good clean, then possibly. =]

Re: Lights [working title]
The only suggestions I have, is to keep an eye on your grammar and spelling.  I noticed some words are missing apostrophes in them (example:  dont rather than don't) :3  But other than that ... it really is amazing!

Re: Lights [working title]
I've already read some stories that people wrote themselves, on various forums I'm on. Some of them were English, some of them were Dutch. They were all absolutely childish written, the people who wrote it were just summing up all kinds of events and just putted them together and they used a lot of short sentences that made it difficult to read. Totally the opposite of your story...

You describe the things she sees so well, but you don't go too far so that we can still use our own imagination of how things look like etc. My mother-language is not English (as you know) but I had absolutely no difficulty reading your story. You write very relaxing, I don't know how te explain that to you as I would love to do.

To make a long story short; I like how you write, it really stayed interesting and I'll be reading your next chapter too. Ofcourse, maybe there are some little things that can be corrected, but that's always the case when you just start with writing! Keep it up like this, it's great work!
You can be proud of yourself! Haha, really. ^-^

Re: Lights [working title]
Thanks Mel, Karma! Thank you for reading and a lovely in-depth review. =]

The last chappy is ready to post. I'm going out tonight in about 5 mins and I'm not coming back tonight. I'll be home tomorrow, probably early afternoon. Will post as soon as I get back, promise. =]

Thank you everyone so much, and sorry for taking ages with this chapter. I have also been messing with Chapter Three which is pretty much ready as well, so that will be posted up quicker after Chapter Two than this.
