I think so too.  They could have the thought or whatever of a craving like if they were just hungry.

You could really imagine a heavily pregnant Sim stood by the fridge trying to ignore the cravings and then WHAM! Open goes the fridge door, and she gobbles down a bunch of whatever her random cravings are, and looks somewhat like a maniac, and the husband walks in on her, is shocked, and sloooowly starts to back away out of the room to leave her to it.

I'm the type that would so make the hottest guy in the town marry the chubbiest sim. Makes for cute chubby babies
