OH! and don't make the sims be annoying and take really long paths when you can just take the short cut.  :-\

Tick tock. Tick tock.<br />Only so long before my head explodes in anticipation of TS3. Big Grin

Re: What NOT to add...
I hate it when like, two Sims are walking to two certain objects, and there's a door, and there both walking to it in opposite directions and you can just totally see it coming - they'll both stop, try and walk passed each other in stupid angles, then whine about it. It's like, for goodness sake, just step back, let the other Sim pass, the continue yourself. Some of my Sims have the sense to do that, but some are just plan stupid. This kind of thing really needs to be sorted out.

Yea, they need to get the path thing sorted out. I have one house where a visitor will go all the way around the back, then go to the front, then the back and so on. It's a nightmare!!!!

I do think they'll solve those things though. In TS1, AI was absolutely appalling. In TS2 it became bearable. I just hope they'll stop advertising items, it totally clogs gameplay.

Hehe, I have a similar problem. I always create a lovely front door with a pretty path surrounded by hedges and flowers, and my Sims decide they don't like that idea and walk all the way to the back of the house and ring the doorbell at the lame back door instead! :Smile I guess my Sims are all for simplicity. ;D

Seems it's contagious...my Sims either use the back door or walk through a wall...neither of which are very realistic...but they are both quite annoying.

Walk though a wall?! :o Lol, my Sims don't do that! Sad People always tell tales of the really funny things their Sims do, and my don't really do anything funny or out-of-the-ordinary. >Sad Well, in my opinion they don't. Sometimes when friends have a go on my Sims on my computer, they say lots of the things that happen to my Sims has never happened to theirs before. But say, a neighbour comes and slaps your Sim's face like there's no tomorrow after spying on them with the telescope. That happens to everyone. Well, at least, everyone online says it's happened to them Sad But my friends think it's like, amazing or something because it never happens to them. I think my Sim walked through a fridge once or something though. Ahh, I don't know, I'm blabbing on now, I don't really know what I'm talking about anymore. It's my eye. I got shampoo in it this morning and it's really painful so it's sending me a little nutty, so my apologies to everyone! Wink Big Grin

Re: What NOT to add...
Oh another thing, I want SOME WAY to tell my sims want table to eat at. I would like to have a breakfast area and then a proper fancy dining room, and maybe even an table outside. Of course this is impossible because they just go to the closest place. Perhaps you could click on a table and set it as a certain type of eating area and then you could choose where to serve the meal from that.

Sometimes sims just stop serving meals, and I really like it when they do that. There should be an option in the pie menu for that to happen.
