What NOT to add... - dejadejavu - 25-03-2008 09:52 PM EA please DON'T... 1) Advertise objects - I'm tired of sims flocking to the piano, or bubble blower. 2) Engulf sims into cyberspace - In Uni, visiting sims are sucked into other dorms. This makes having parties almost impossible. If there are apartments in TS3, DO NOT allow this to happen. 3) Let sims be so whiny - Yes we know you have to pee. You screaming that at me is stopping you from doing so. 4) Have ugly clothes/furniture - CC causes big problems for people. How about putting quality stuff in the game from the beginning. 5) Randomly choose clothing for aging sims - I hate how my sims age and POOF! gone are their pretty clothes and BAM! they're wearing miss matched shirts and pants. Let us simmers choose their first outfit! Re: What NOT to add... - alj12692 - 25-03-2008 09:56 PM lol the pee thing is big... i have had sims almost die of hunger and yell at me while trying to take care of a whining baby... i know you need to eat just go do it yourself! Re: What NOT to add... - Cassie - 25-03-2008 10:27 PM I particularly agree with them being so flipping whiny! I always start shouting at them through the computer at that point, sometimes using some rather rude words that I always get shouted at for when my mum goes pass my bedroom door and hears me : And the clothes thing too. I was saying this not long ago, that the clothes in the TS2 basegame were pretty much all disgusting. They definately need to put some decent clothing in, right from the start. Same when they grow up and their clothes become ugly, when I'm filiming their birthdays, I hate that they grow up and they look flipping ugly because they have ugly, mismatched clothes and their hair always changes to some rubbish maxis mesh on mine, too.
Re: What NOT to add... - Garter - 25-03-2008 10:29 PM The whining thing wouldn't be nearly as bad if they didn't stop what they were doing and waved their arms in their air as I was in the middle of trying to satisfy it! Re: What NOT to add... - RoyalT - 25-03-2008 10:29 PM Yea, I hate it when they whine. I too yell at the computer when my patience runs low. Re: What NOT to add... - Bexy 1239 - 25-03-2008 10:33 PM one of the ea staff said that in TS3 they're trying to make it so you can do what you want to do more than what you need to do. so while on TS2 you're just busy trying to keep them full of food and alive and not peeing themselves, on TS3 i reckon they'll make it take longer for the to need the toilet again, so in the meantime you can take your sim shopping etc, without having to have all that panic of just keeping them existant. Re: What NOT to add... - Cassie - 25-03-2008 10:39 PM Yep, that's what they're going to do. It's going to be such a relief! I go mental when one of my Sim's needs is yellow! Their needs kind of just take over for me sometimes, so I can't concentrate on anything else. Re: What NOT to add... - sims2alwaysrocks - 25-03-2008 11:50 PM haha. the whining! theyre like "i need to pee! *does weird lil pee squatting dance* LEMME PEE!" i'm like...i know that...that just MIGHT be why i just told you to use the toilet... :
