You could really imagine a heavily pregnant Sim stood by the fridge trying to ignore the cravings and then WHAM! Open goes the fridge door, and she gobbles down a bunch of whatever her random cravings are, and looks somewhat like a maniac, and the husband walks in on her, is shocked, and sloooowly starts to back away out of the room to leave her to it.
