Does anyone know if they plan to make it available for Vista?

I had to change computers about 5 months ago, and to insure security we decided on a Windows Vista. But, sadly, Sims 1 or 2 didn't work on it.

So does anyone know if they'll make Sims 3 available for Vistas?

Of course they will.

And TS2 WORKS on Vista. lol my sister's playing the game right now using that operating sistem. It works just fine.

Oh, wow, really?
I've tried installing many, many times. And the security is completely blocking it. I get about half way through, and then it just shuts it saying something about being unavailable.

I'm not sure why they wouldn't, but Sims 2 didn't, and neither did Sims 1, in my case of course.

I was just insuring that they would before I spend my money on it.

I recommend you download the patches, you may own an old version of the game, and a few people have reported they had to install the patches... http://thesims2.ea.com/update/

Well, in '04 when TS2 came out Vista didn't exist.
And even if it ain't perfect for gaming, it's rather popular now, so I'm pretty sure they'll make it available for Vista.

I'm kinda worried about the guys with Macs though.

Of course, since apparently I wasn't as skilled as I thought I was in this, do I have to rebuy it?
Or can I just download it, and then put the code in from the old version of the game I apparently have?

I've never really understood Macs, what's the difference between them and windows/dell?

There ain't much of a difference between Mac and Windows.
Except that with a Mac you can barely play any games and you can't run .exe files. Great, isn't it?  :
