SIMS 3 LOW FPS PROBLEM

I have a quad 2.5ghz q9300 cpu and a gtx260 nvidia. i got two raptors in raid 0 and 4gigs of ddr800

I have tried xp,vista and windows 7.

I have tried two different pc's

I have tried NUMEROUS different drivers (chipset/gpu)..

I have tried different hardrives.

MY PC IS WAY WAY WAY BEYOND the system requirements of the game and i still cant get it to run right...

This game is a joke... I have 2 friends that told me the game runs great on there systems, so i dont get it.

after researching i feel like its the game thats the problem, but then again how did my friends play it maxed out with no problems.

i even formated and tried 3 different operating for this crappy game...

also, i can RUN EVERYgame i can imagine and still sims 3 runs crappy....

am i the only one with this problem?

after running fraps to check my fps. My fps drops to 3-10 when scrolling around and zooming in and out...like i stated above i have a gtx 260... I have tried 4 different versions (including the latest one) from nvidia...

I also tried putting in my old 7800 256mb and still the same choppy crappy scenario

i forgot to add i EVEN WENT AND BOUGHT THIS GAME WITH MY HARD WORKING CASH just to be failed by EA...

Still didnt fix the problem....

I also tried with and without updates...

Game still runs like crap!!!!
