Well, see, I have a (somewhat) friend called Bethanie (sorry, I kow it's usually spelled Bethany but I have grown used to spelling it a little different though conversations with her on MSN) and she gets called Beth all the time. Are you positive it's just Beth? Maybe she doesn't like Bethanie as a name? Or perhaps it's short for Elizabeth?

As much as she doesn't like it, it was the name of one of her grandmothers as well, so she will keep it. lol

Lol, I know you can just be called Beth, however personally I just don't like it as 'Beth'. I think Melissa Beth is quite nice, actually. Maybe I'm just the odd duck here, hehe. I don't mind. I always am.

It's not terrible, like I said, but with her last name and all...it just doesn't quite fit well. In my opinion, anyway. I don't like my full name much, either, but people are ALWAYS fawning over it...

{offtopic}!!!  JK!!  I always wanted to post that one, now you guys gave me the chance!!!  Well since were talkin about names and such, my grandma wanted to name me Kendra, for my grandpa on my dads side, Ken and my grandma on my moms side Nedra!!  I really wanted to be named that!! {lol} {lol} {lol} {lol} {lol} {lol} {lol}
