Mother's Day!
So, Mother's Day is coming up on Sunday, and I was wondering....

What are you doing for Mother's Day?

I'm making a poster of all kinds of things for my mom. It will have birds (she LOVES birds) and cards and all kinds of things on it.

Re: Mother's Day!
Wasn't Mother's Day like, 2 months ago? Or is it different where you are?

Anyhoo. I made my mum breakfast in bed. And bought her some perfume and some slippers. And obviously a card.

What you're doing sounds awesome. I take it you are a neat drawer?

Re: Mother's Day!
It's May 11th here. Well, the second Sunday in May, but yeah.

That sounds cool!

Thanks. Umm I'm a HORRIBLE drawer! Tongue I have this program on my laptop called "The Print Shop" and I made a card and I edited some pics and things like that.

Re: Mother's Day!
Mother's Day, my daughter phoned and said she is out of town and won't come to see me (I am not sure if that is my gift or not. {woot}
And my son will be coming over to see me.

Your idea sounds lovely supergeek, some of the best gifts I ever received never came from a store. My son used to cook all the meals on mothers day, I guess that won't happen now he has moved out.  Smile

Re: Mother's Day!
Yeah, Cassie, Mothers Day is different from America, Fathers Day is next month where we are (: [15th June]

Anyway, I'm sure I've probably drawn my mum cards before when I was like 5, I know we had to do it in school back then...torture...LOL.

Good luck with your card Paul (:

Coming Soon...

Meh, Father's Day... I will NOT be celebrating that, thank you very much.

Anyhoo, I did the same thing. At school, for Mother's Day (not Father's day though, for some reason) we always had to make little cards with fluffy chickens with googly eyes and stuff. But I thought it was really fun. Smile

Anyhoo, Paul, what you are doing sounds really nice. I know most mothers adore getting gifts their kids actually made, as it means something more.
