Re: What are you watching?
I never seem to have trouble understanding. I didn't think America had much slang tbh? I can understand it perfectly really. I can't think of a time when I didn't understand it atm.

You do realise how much American TV we are forced to watch right?
You could name any show and I bet you we have it over here.

Australia is exactly the same. We have so many American shows.

Re: What are you watching?
I think for most English-speaking countries, American shows dominates the box.
Like I said, there's nothing wrong with your shows, they're no worse nor better than most of ours. It's just, we'd like more of our own cultures TV. I'm surprised kids don't grow up with an American accent, with all the US shows they grow up watching.

I wonder why though? I'm American and I like in the US and even I'm sick of watching some American shows {huh}.
Why can't other countries limit the amount of American television?

Re: What are you watching?
Becuase other shows from different countries keep the television industry alive.
I don't think Australia could produce so many shows to cover different channels here tbh. xD
