I'm sure you could expand the neighborhood and put other houses in for your own sims. Or maybe you could just pick a house where you don't like the townies and move your sims in...erasing those sims off the map!

Are you sure all the house are going to be occupied? That's awesome! I use SimPe to make the townies pretty and I always hated trying to run into them on a community lot. First of all there are waaaay to many to alter them all, so then I had to wait many sim hours before they ever saw one of my creations.

Now, if the houses are filled, I can just send them over there. Wouldn't it be cute to see sims cooking dinner? AHH, I just can't believe how awesome TS3 sounds!

You know what I was just thinking is while these townies stay in that one house they're whole lives and their next generations too because that would be stupid especially if they became rich sims and they lived in some cheap house
I'm sure Maxis won't let that be the case but wow it is going to be a really complicated game
and like also is their only going to be the one playable family in the neighborhood or can you make more then one and can you play th townies families? because I haven't heard anything about that kind of thing yet
It's just going to be so different I'm so excited

Perhaps it'll be something like when the Sims move into dorms in Uni? Like, you get first pick and all the other sims move in slowly afterwards.

it probably doesn't even matter which house u pick since most of them look the same in the screenshots.

Yes, that's quite a good idea! So, like, we'd be able to pick our favourite houses and move in our Simmies before all the townies gradually take over and move into the rest? My only doubt is, what if we don't know any cheats before TS3 is released? I can't remember if I knew any when I first got TS2, or whether I learned them later. But then, if we don't have any cheats, then we can't give our Sims enough money to buy the more expensive houses in the neighbourhood. Hopefully we can just chuck out the townies if we want to, but, say, what if the house is decorated nice when the townies live there, but when we move them out, the furniture goes and then we have to do it ourselves, but we liked how it looked before? Hmmm. I have so man darn questions that still need to get answered by EA.

yeah i dont think there will be "townies" because im not sure where they would live..because theres only one neighborhood and nowhere for them to hide.

im sure there will be more premade houses in the bin that you can add in..the neighborhood is said to be expandable.
Plus you can always delete people you dont like. haha
