Re: 2012 (Film)
We went to see Transformers Rise of the Fallen and they showed this preview. It PO'd my fiance, and to be honest I wasn't too thrilled with it myself. I don't mind end of the world movies, but when they make end of the world movies based off dates that were predicted by MANKIND it makes me angry. The only 'person' who will ever know whe the world will end is God, and God alone. And he sure as hell ain't tellin'.
Not to mention, these dates don't predict the end of the world, they predict an End to an ERA, meaning a world-wide change, not complete and total destruction. People are stupid. Member since March 17th, 2008

And who said that the Mayans where the first civilization? Thats BULLSH!T
Anyway, I first hear about the whole 2012 appocolypse crap a few years ago and I was terrified! I am not anymore. This is ridiculous (SP?). This film is just going to scare people. [center] ![]() [center] |

Re: 2012 (Film)
And there is no proof that the Mayans predicted the world would end in 2012. They had a calender which just happened to end in 2012. Forgive me if this has already been posted.

Re: 2012 (Film)
People just take them seriously because they were very wise, the predicted things that would happen thousands of years into the future that did actually happen.
Meh, I don't have an opinion anymore anyway. I mean, if we die, it's not like we'll be alive to complain about it...
