There would be a reason, though. It would be for the Medical career track. Nobody knows if there will be Hospital-based births in TS3, up until now I don't even think anyone noticed there was a Hospital in any of the pictures. Certainly with the seamless neighborhood it would be easier for births to take place at the Hospital, at least in my opinion, but nobody knows. Not until they give us more information and stop teasing us.

theenchantedx3: They already said in the Magazine articles that no buildings will be there just as decoration, all of them will be clickable. Though some will be Rabbit Holes (buildings/places that your Sims will go into, but you will not follow them), they have not finalized which buildings will be made that way. And who knows, maybe they'll take it out all together. Theres a long wait left and plenty of time for them to work on the game.

Omg.. A hospital! That's so awesome, I didn't even know about that until you posted that XD - That would be cool if you can work there or visit/admit people there.
