Sims 3 Coming Out Early!

my friend doesn't go on this. And If I'm wrong you guys cant hurt me because I never said it would come out thast early for sure. I said it would come out that early if everything goes as planned! ;D

Yeah, I'm the same. I don't want them releasing it in 2008 if it's full of bugs, because then they'll really annoy me... So I am willing to wait until 2009 to make sure that it lives up to the standards we have been setting it... I don't want to be disappointed.

Let's get to the point, they started working on the game in the year 2006. They should be up to the getting rid of glitches stage.

I think they're beta-testing the game, that's why magazines are starting to review it.

That takes time... Only after the beta-testing they really polish the game and correct the final glitches, which should take, I'd say, 6 months to a year. But since this game is SO huge, I doubt it's coming out this year.

I disagree. I think it's better if they take that extra amount of time to make absolutely sure everything is right.

Also, release dates are usually released at least 6 months before the realease.

And to those who say that there's so much info already, etc., have a look at Spore. There's been information out since '06, and the game is going to be released this September.

Better to not get ones hopes up with EA, anyway. We'll only end up disappointed.

I have this feeling that there going to release later in 08.If you were on the official Sims 3 forum you would have seen that an EA employee left a message and she said that the game ships 09 but,never gave a specific date.So we still don't know the real date.I'm not listening to the gaming sites because EA not even sure when there own game comes out.

Are they even beta testing? Because EA is so bad at that...

Remember, guys, beta testing means third-party testing. As long as it's just the developers testing, it's Alpha. The reason why beta testing is so important is that people have different hardware, different OS versions, and different formatting. Most combinations should be tested.

[/quote]EA makes the best games in the industry.But when the Maxis division puts one out they can never tell us the release dates or they torture by telling us early and showing to much info and then something happens to the game.They've already had a car bug.
