yes, and if an occasions EP or SP came out with things for parties like costumes for costume parties, special cakes, and other things related maybe exciteable would fit there since a person would be excited about special occasions.

Yeah, like Hates Holidays, Hates Snow, Doggyphobe, etc.

I know this man that is afraid of dogs...really.  I didn't know until I took my dog walking and came over to him.  My dog didn't even sniff him or nothing, in her own business, and he started freaking out.  Probably a bad experience with a dog.

Maybe sims can get fears from bad experiences.  They may add the fears into the game...I hope.  Like instead of the fears constantly changing, just let the player pick out 3 fears for them in CAS, or if a sim is born in the game, life experiences lead to fears.

I like your fears ideas, it would make sense and the gaining fears from life experiences sounds good.  Smile

I do love your fears idea. It sounds more realistic than constantly changing fears!

And maybe you can't pick the fears. Like, if your pick cretain traits, then you will get either a fear, or a choice of 2 or 3 fears. for example, if you had a sim with the trait "dislikes children" then it opens up a fears box, and gives you the option to add a fear. and depending on your tarits, your fears are filtered. so, "dislikes children" would let you choose fears from changing nappies to socialising with children.

And then, if your sim has the coward trait, it gives you a lot more fears boxes you have to fill. If your sim is brave, it cancels out all your fears boxes, except one. that fear will be the one thing a brave sim is afraid of.

Romantic may seem to be the same thing as flirty to them, but it isn't.  A romantic hubby is different than a flirty hubby.  Romantic hubbys brings flowers home, give backrubs, be faithful, love their spouses.  A flirty hubby, he may flirt with his wife, but she would need to keep a close eye on him.

I will never date a man that a bunch of lady friends.

I know! I always hated how in TS2 the "romantic" sims were always looking to get some, I could never understand how being unfaithful to those you love is romantic!

My social life will cease to exist in June.

I know!

That isn't romantic.  But these days, romance has no meaning.  Romance means something different today than the early 90s, when I grew up.

Romance meant catering to the one you love.  And only them, doing little things for them that shows how much you love them.

Today, romance is just about women, and multiple lovers and s3x.

And one thing about marriage in TS2, can married couples still go on dates, or the man can bring home chocolates and stuff...do romantic favors.  In TS2, it was just marriage, and that's it.  If the family went out, it just counted as going somewhere, not a date.  There should be more romantic interactions besides hug, kiss, and woohoo.

There is more to romance than just touch.  But I guess they need ideas left for TS4 if there is ever gonna be one.  Probably TS4 would be an improvement on relationships and interactions.

How would the developer's know which ones I'd never use?

It would have been better for them to have just left them in, and let the gamers decide which traits are "worth using".  {glare}
