Almost enough...
At Target they have this tiny laptop for $300. You can't play Sims on it and shtuff, but it's so cute and portable. Big Grin About two pounds, I think. And it has Internet.

Before you get a laptop, make sure it's at least good enough to play the game. Laptops around $300 new isn't usually that good. 

I say get one that has no less that 2GB of RAM, I would prefer 3 GB, but 2 is a starter.  And 200+ GB of hard drive space.  Then you have to make sure it displays graphics good enough.

The cheap laptops I see on sale are almost obselete, with 1 GB of RAM and not a lot of HD space...don't get that.
