That happens to me, I just restart my computer and it works.

Every once in a while, when I am in the map thingie, all of the lots are benches.
Which is annoying if I want to find a class, or something.

I have seen a few glitches.
My game sometimes just shut down (while trying to access fabrics), but it was after I installed some patterns I downloaded, once I removed them I had no more problems.
The other one is the island counters (Storybook in sims 2), when you place two pink ones together they change to brown.  {no}

For some reason only the custom music plays in my game. every once in a while you hear the other music but not often.

Another one was when I had a sim make some food it just disappeared when it was done. His hand was stuck like he was holding a plate of food. Till i made him make something else.

Had a Sim use "kickin it up a notch" on a box of pizza and it just disappeared.

Something I found out, sometimes I click, but it selects something different {blink}

Like, I click the fridge, and it asks "Brush Teeth"  Its annoying

^ Your mouse may have not actually selected the fridge. Is the sink right next to the fridge?

And I've had someone bring over a toddler (which seems normal) but the abnormal part is that the guy but the toddler down and he went inside the house as she crawled her way off the lot and up the street o_o

maybe it has to do with your comp... maybe your comp isn't recognizing where your at or something.
try putting graphics down
