New Official Cover Art?

I friggin love it. Definitely my favourite "cover art" they released so far. It's edgy, and neat. And this is coming from a graphic designer student who is VERY picky.

It's definitely getting very mixed reviews. I agree with Mrs Farenheit concerning the 'marmite' comment, it definitely seems so. They should do a poll and use a collection of different designs and the fanbase gets to decide their favourite, that way no one can really complain.

Meh, I still definitely hate it. At the end of the day though, it's a cover that I won't be paying much attention to when I get the game, and chances are I'll end up losing it anyway, so, it's fine with me however they choose to do this cover.

Well, it doesn;t really matter if you hate it, it's the game that really counts.

Plus, they'll have a different design for each o the ep's. I don't think i've seen my sims 2 cover in a while, cause you wont use it after the first EP is released, anywya.

Exactly. And there's no DEFINITE chance they'll use this, they could change their minds in the time span we have left to go. Who knows?

I like the faces of the Sims, it shows off two strong functions of the game; style and personalities. It makes you see how every Sim is DIFFERENT, looks-wise and personality wise, as they're all pulling funny, different faces. That's a nice point to this cover. I love that.

I don't like how they used grey as their background colour, that's pretty yucky. And the style resembles a 70's wallpaper. I think with a little more care they could have crafted it to look more pleasing to the eye.

But i suppose if they'd gone multicoloured, they start being sued for epilepsy.

Well I think I'd take the multi-coloured one over the grey. What about a nice light blue or something nuetral instead, rather than grey? At least that wouldn't look dismal. I dunno, maybe it'll grown on me eventually... right now it's still pretty bleurgh to me. =P

Ew... That thing is hideous now. Grey.... Yuck. Couldn't they have gone with a nice cheery sims green? that woudl've been much better.

And now it's starting to look a bit like gift-wrapping. I've set it as my desktop background, and I notice something new about it every time I look at it, which makes it more disgusting...

I like the girl that blows a kiss, and Morty is hidden behind the logo, and the girl with the black hair and top is prettyful. And there's some fit-looking Sim guys my first ever Sim could hook-up with, too.
