I actually just played the sims

I use LimeWire everyday and I know people think that is bad. Like my friends won't burn me CDs because they say it's illegal. Well, I'm sure as hell not going to pay $1.29 a song (they raised the prices). I think with music it's one thing, but I would never download a movie or video game illegaly. I still think that is bad, but hey who am I to point fingers?

I download all of my music. And yes, I download movies too. DVD's are just too expensive for me. I can't pay $20+ for something that's only going to truly interest me once. And I can't afford the movie theaters for every movie I want to see. If I have a favorite movie, sure, I'll buy it, because I know I'll watch it a lot. If it's a movie that I have been wanting to see and I know it's going to be awesome, like the new XMen movie? Yeh, I'll watch it in theaters. But to be honest? I'm way too broke to be paying for all that all the time. Especially in this economy. When I've been working all day it's nice to come home and curl up and watch a new movie.
But a game? I mean, you spend hours playing a good game. And actors are so overpaid I don't feel so bad downloading movies, but game makers deserve my money. Even though I am still very unhappy with EA, I still feel obligated to pay for my game, because I feel it is worth it. Thinking back I shouldn't have spent so much on the original Sims games, but back then, they were worth it.
Basically, if I really like something I downloaded, I buy it. But downloading has saved me a lot of money. I've watched movies that I thought I was going to love and they turned out to be horrid. I can't afford to buy things I won't use or enjoy. But The Sims 3 is worth every penny, and more. [By more I mean the money it will take to fix my gaming computer that just happened to crap out 2 weeks before the game comes out >.<]

I admit- I FAILED! I downloaded the game to my Uncle's computer {ohmy} I was too weak ehhe. I have tons of pics but I'm more ashamed because I said I wouldn't and I did it anyway {no} Let's just say I PRAY that was the Beta version.........

If they come after me, i'll just provide my bill of pre-order, though I highly doubt that'll happen, especially since I'm on vacation in another state atm... {wacko}
