Yeah, the first one tends to be the longest, or shortest.  I don't think there's ever a middle, LoL.

I believe mine lasted about the same. Maybe a day or two shorter.

i was so upset that it lasted that long. it worried me. then when it ended i was so happy. =)
wow, to think i was excited for this to come. then the one time i stopped thinking about it, it happened. weird...

See, they had taught us about periods and whatnot at school. But I just never THOUGHT about it. For some reason I had it in my head it Wasn't going to happen to me, rofl.

I think one reason my sister was so excited is because up until this year she's never been able to have a regular period. She was 16 when she got her first period, and it was never right.  She had to have a historectomy (her reproductive organs were removed) earlier this year because she was diagnosed with Utarin Cancer.  She never had any kids, and she and her now ex-boyfriend had been trying for almost 8 years

i was excited because i'd known about periods from the time i was small. my mom answered all my questions about them. then she bought me a lot of puberty books around 4th and 5th grades. i also discussed periods on a website just for things like that. i was so excited. then in 5th grade i thought i was close to my period, but i was actually very far off. so i started thinking about them less and less and eventually forgot about it. then BAM, i got my period. {ohmy}

You live in an age where just about every home has a computer.

When I was 12, it was 1993 ... and computers in the home weren't nearly as popular as they are now. If you had a computer in your home, they considered you somekindofsnazzy.

So all I had to go on was what they'd tell us in school, and what I could get out of my mom and sister when I got it.

a lot of my e-friends have helped me with periods, cuz im too shy to ask my mom most of the time...
