there won't really be needs now, it's more of a discrete mood system.

it's more like how our moods are, if we did something we liked, we'll be happy for a while, if something bad happens (a friend died, had to walk home in the rain) then you'll be in a bad mood.

at least that's what I've gathered.

I just gotta say: Don't believe anything anyone says unless it is someone from Maxis/EA or it was announced officially on the site. Lots of people are making up things; it just builds up the excitement and anticipation. I highly doubt Maxis will only give you 1 town.
