Kids - Are they going to be as ugly as they are in TS2?

I'd tell they're ugly because they are! Ugly is a strong word for some, they're just... never very good-looking, are they? And it really kind of sucks, because when you're doing legacies you're lucky if by the 10th generation they don't look like they've been run over 10 times by a lorry.

Also, I agree with people who say the whole genetics system needs to be worked on. I also think kids get hair/eye colours from grandparents (and even before that) way too much. In my game, the kids have just as much chance as getting their grandparents' hair or eye colour as they have getting their parents'.

i don't really know about sims since i reraly have grandparents
but i do hope they'll make kids look better

I hate when toddlers come out disfigured. It's just annoying because some aren't a good enough size for their features,  until they're children.

I generally get really pretty kids...so I don't understand this. All my attractive sims produce attractive kids, some really beautiful some just above average. I do think that sometimes the child stage isn't all that great, but once you move past it then they get pretty.

but i usually create the parents so they have good genes

Then all kids seem to have the same default hairstyle.  It is always the buzzcut hair for the boys, and the curly straight down hair for the girls.  I always gets the same hairdo when the baby grows into a toddler.  I never got a bald toddler, or the long hair one, always the buzzcut toddler boy or the short hair toddler girl.

That's true, that's why i downloaded a toddler mirror so i can change their hair, but when my sims have ugly kids i download a hairstyle that covers most of their face.  {yes}
