We're just lucky so far.

Although I honestly don't think it's anything to worry about too horribly yet.  I mean, yes it's sad that people's lives have been lost and that others are still sick, but it's not something we should panic over.  Panicking won't help or make it go away.

No-one I know, since I live in a small town on the north facing hill, so I tend to quarentine myself. The only chances I have of getting it are at school or when I venture outside, which I rarely do exept for school and sometimes exersize

Yes, America had its first death from the Swine Flu today. A baby from Mexico died in Texas.

I haven't heard about quarantining entire countries. I do know that some countries, like Cuba, have imposed travel bans to Mexico.

And the World Health Organization (WHO) just raised the pandemic alert level to "5", one away from a full fledged pandemic.
