what are you willing to sacrifice?

I was day dreaming about the Sims3 again and it dawned on me of all the things we will be sacrificing or 'giving up' from the Sims2.

One thing for me is that with the Sims 2 we were introduced to the camera and movie options. The ability to share photos and stories.

Reading all of the articles, I have yet to hear about a new camera option. There's a great posibility that it won't even make the cut. I hear about modding tools and such for custom content being included but not much else.

Now just because I haven't heard much about it, doesn't mean it isn't going to be in the game. From what I have seen in screenshots, are little picture frames all over the houses on dressers and such so there is hope. The camera is my sacrifice, I don't want it to go, but I'm sure something even better will replace it. What are you willing to let go in order to be okay with a whole new gameplay taking the way you play the Sims over? Some of you are willing to jump in head first (I'm guilty of this) but what if you aren't satisfied with the results? That old Sims2 game you chucked on eBay for $30 may be missed afterall.

I wud be sad if the camera mode doesnt make it in, i mean thats a huge part of the game. It wudnt be right without it.

speaking about music.... i wish they'd bring back the old school sims music. i loveeeddd listening to it while building homes. i think one of the reasons i built less homes in the sims 2 was because they didnt have the awesome music D:

well.. i personally loveeed the idea of pets in the sims 1 and sims 2. but when they released the pets ep in sims 2 i felt like they didnt think it through enough. the fact that random pets can come into a community lot and destroy furniture realllyy pissed me off. so... not necessarily sacrifice the idea of pets in the game.. but iono.. that was a major turn off for me.. i dont know how related it is to the subject.. but oh well.. is typed it anyways.
