Okay, so, have you ever noticed how when the sims cross a street they'll just cross it UNLESS if there is a cross walk? I put it to the test with the Peterson story and this is what I got:

Now, when they first cross it, they used the cross walk, then I made Jessica waddle to the middle of the street on the other side. And then, I chose where they used to be. Instead of just going to the other side and be done with it, she had to go back onto the sidewalk and then all the way to the cross walk!

I've always noticed them doing this, I just could never get video evidence of it until now.

I noticed this! I was trying to film for a video I was doing, and the idea of it consisted of the main character walking down the middle of the road, but since the crossing was there, she kept walking along that, then down the 'sidewalk' and then onto the part of the road that I had asked her to walk to. I was like...GAH!!

I know, it's not like any cars are gonna come and hit them...LOL! And the cars don't even stop anyway, they just drive on.

lawl, I know! It isn't like they have CONSTANT traffic xD Besides, who said that they would STOP if sims were crossing on the sidewalk?

Me too.

But hey, atleast they're careful to not see their face make a permanent dent in the side-walk or road XD.

xDD Yeah, they'd rather drown because they didn't know they could get out of the pool without a ladder xDD

Euch, Sims are very silly then, I'd probably rather get ran over than drown...but that's just my opinion XD

Technically I have had a sim get run over xD



A sim came home from work, and passed out right there in the street.  Then the gardener showed up and since the spot where they usually park was past the sleeping sim, the vehicle ACTUALLY went OVER the sim xD  I was so shocked I didn't get a pic in time LOL
