I expected this kind of reply. It's really uninformative but at least EA forwarded it on to someone, who actually replied.

but imo that was kind of an annoying reply... Its irrelevant (sp?) but as you said atleast someone replied... They should have atleast apologized, instead they're reassuring you that the release date is june 2nd?!
However, telling you to keep up with the sims 3 website may be a hint for a possible advance in the release date

Better than nothing at all, imo.
They could've just said "Oh look another whining player, delete." and done nothing. Which imo would have been worse. At least this way, we know they're getting the emails sent to them. Even if the information they provided was BS.

I just checked my inbox and apparently I have a reply too, but I'm trying to open the damn thing, and my computer is getting its anti-bacterial underpants in a twist. I'll post their reply if it's worthy, as soon as I can open the darned thing.
