To Pre-Order or Not? - followthesmile - 22-01-2009 04:13 AM I'm having such a tough time deciding if I should pre-order or not. The only thing about pre-ordering is the shipping price. I only know how to pre-order it from the EA Store. You see I don't understand the shipping thing. You can have 1-2 day delievery for $15 or 3-4 day delievery for $6. I don't know what to do. I mean the Sims is a whole month away! Will it come on the 20th or not? Also, do the deliever it to me or do I pick it up at a store? I'm so clueless. And if I don't pre-order it I'm going to Wal-Mart! That's how desprate I am it's the only store that is open 24/7 around here. Hopefully no one sees me there...LOL. Anywho, just need advice. Thanks and I can not wait! {lol} Re: To Pre-Order or Not? - yummybunny - 22-01-2009 04:19 AM If you want to make sure you get a copy, then preorder it, but I wouldn't since you will get it days after release. And if Wal-Mart has it on release day, that would be a faster way of getting it, especially if there aren't a lot of people around who play The Sims. It's not Halo or Gears of War...it won't sell out really fast. Re: To Pre-Order or Not? - CountryGal4132 - 22-01-2009 04:23 AM well, I ordered mine from Gamestop online and I don't have to pay for shipping because I will be picking it up at the store near my house. I don't know if you have a gamestop near you but otherwise I would not pre-order and I would just drive to wal-mart and see if they have it the 21st or 22nd. Also, if you did wal-mart or another store near you I would call ahead to see if they have it and if they do then I would ask them to hold a copy if you are planning on driving out to get it right away. I hope that helped some! Re: To Pre-Order or Not? - kl_turriff - 22-01-2009 02:17 PM pre-ordering from EA Games could also work. Every time I pre-order through them I get my game on the day it comes out. {yes} The only thing that kind of sucks about pre-ordering through EA Games is that you have to pick it up in the store you ordered it in, no acceptations.
