i think they said somewhere that it might not be aliens exactly.
but to expect "creatures" so i really don't know

They will most probably make an expansion pack on creatures, including aliens. {yes}

I hated all the supernatural aspects on Sims 2... I'm hoping for NO creatures... but that will never happen. {no}

They defintely said that creatures were planned, but they didn't reveal anything about them.
Maybe there wont be any creature in the Basegame, perhaps they're just for EP's...?
But if not, i hope there's birdsims in the basegame!

Birdsims? Like half bird half sim? That'd be scary {unsure}...
I'm sure there will be some kind of creature in the base game. it has always been like that... I think they'll carry on with the tradition.

I honestly cant imagine any creature they havent had in a sims game..so who knows? a sasquatch?? or..aliens like you mentioned..vamps...who knows but they cant get very creative we've seen practically everything and i hate them either way..
i dont like the random creatures i can never figure out how to make my sim become one anyway..so its a waste for me.

Yeah I can't be bothered making my sim a warewolf or a plantsim (although that was very easy. Actually way too easy) or alien or whatever... {yawn}

really??? the only thing i've ever easily accomplished when it came to creatures was a witch..
everything else i sadly could never figure out.
