Re: Sickly Days - b-rad - 16-08-2008 12:46 AM one time (warning gross) i puked and my bucket wasnt close to me and i shot out my puke like a foot or 2 it was hardcore Re: Sickly Days - Chanel - 16-08-2008 02:34 AM well the night before i had surgery i was on simsforums and i had to go without food or water for a long time. then i got up at like 6 to go to the surgery place. we brought a bunch of stuff there to entertain us. before i knew it i was called in, i changed into hospital pajamas and socks and went to the bathroom. then i got the IV thing. people asked me some questions about when i last ate or drank something, then this woman gently got my arm and took me to the surgery room. it was big and circular, with the small surgery bed in the middle of the room. i started shaking cuz it was just scary looking. then i had to go on the surgery bed, and the position they put me in hurt my neck. they started connecting things to me, i think it was the medicine. then they put a mask on me and it tasted bad. i coughed, then the lady told me not to. i stopped and a few seconds later i was out cold. next thing i knew i was being fed water by my mom in the recovery room. i wasnt sure if i was dreaming or what, because it just felt weird. i asked if i was awake, and they said yes. i was still numb so i couldnt feel the pain from the surgery. i was getting sick of being fed water so i asked my mom to stop. i kept feeling nauseous, but i couldnt get myself to throw up in the little cup. i told my mom my neck hurts, and she said its normal. then i asked if i could go home, and i started to get in my pajamas. by then i was awake enough to drink my water by myself, with a straw. i was carried off to the car in a wheelchair, then i layed down in the backseat. i closed my eyes but i couldnt fall asleep. then i got home and i could barely get up, but i managed to. my mom had just bought some jello so i ate some and watched TV. i took a couple of naps, and i kept waking up suddenly. once when i woke up i couldnt breathe for a second, then i realized my stomach was bothering me again. i limped to the bathroom and kneeled over the toilet and threw up blood... and jello. {blink} the next day i woke up at like 5 am, my throat throbbing with pain. i just swallowed and i clutched my throat because it hurt. i watched tv, and a few hours later my dad came home with real flowers, a vase, a stuffed animal and a card signed by a lot of his coworkers. it made me feel nice. then i realized it hurt bad to talk, so i had to type messages to my mom in notepad. after a week of being home, i went to school with my mom to pick up make up work. everyone flipped out like "OMG HI CHANEL!" then i said nothing, and my teacher told them i cant talk. i was able to talk but i just didnt want to... ![]() for a while, i had to have disgusting medicine every like 2 hours. {wacko} i obviously finished the bottle right away {rolleyes} the rest of the recovery was just boring. i couldnt eat anything that i wanted to; i had to stick to pudding for a while. the ice cream i had was gross, and i was too scared to eat jello again. (remember i threw that up? {blink} ) but 2 weeks after i had surgery, one exciting thing DID happen. i called my best friend and told her i had to tell her something. she asked what, and i was just like, "uhhhh... i had surgery." she said, "oh my gosh! are you ok?" she told her mom and then she got to come over within the next few days. so one good thing came out of it! ![]() wow that was long sorry Re: Sickly Days - b-rad - 16-08-2008 03:54 PM what was the surgery for?
