I was playing Sims2 when our power went out (we've been having bad storms for 3 days now). The power came back on about 45 minutes later, and when I went to play again ... it won't load.
I've taken the disk out, rebooted 3 times, tried loading from the start menu, everything. But nothing. I have TSS so I get the little box that pops up and you have to click the button for the game to start up, I do that and ... nothing. If I try to do it again, it says the game is already running, but it's not!
Any ideas?

Try turning off the computer for 5 minutes or so, and then try it maybe...

I was about to cry if I had to reinstall the game again. I'd lose everything! But it worked, yayayayayay!!!

wat state do u live in cuz i have been haveing storms for a long time as well
