I recently stumbled across some threads from before the days of TS2, when they were discussing ideas and whatnot for game (like we are on these forums). It took me a little while to figure out that it was pre-TS2 days. I kept on thinking...but we already have all those things! Then I realized this happy truth, that EA gave us 98% of the things that we wanted, and there's still another EP (at the very least).
If we think back, EA did a great job with TS2 and I'm sure TS3 will be a great game.

of course they will
and from what we've seen till now the graphics are going to be great
the problem is that there is hardly any new info and TS3 site hasn't been updated since it was launched
on the other hand maxis/ea doesn't update TS2 site that often either most of the activity on that site is from fans

Oh, they will never dissapoint us, I'm sure of it.
But you know, our expectations have increased greatly since then, and I'm positive we've been talking of more 'TS4/5' material on here, rather than TS3. But I keep my chin up nonetheless, because I know it'll be brilliant, and they'll think of things we never imagined that will make it an awesome game.

Yea, I some of the stuff on the boards probably won't come around until 4 or 5. For a while I was thinking that this was the last sim game. You know a nice set of 3...since thats how movies generally work. But then I realized that in the gaming industry...its not. As long as we keep buying, we'll get more games.
It's sort of frustrating though because I think we could have all the stuff, but they're just not putting it in there. What I want mainly is way more complex relations (of all types) and I think they're heading in that direction...but not making the giant leap the game needs.

No, I think the game could still make a hue leap from TS3 and I don't think they're working on that best they could, either. I don't know yet, I'm not judging until we get updates.

i think that we need to see the game
rught now we know very little about the game and we cab't really judge it until we actually play it or at least get more info

That's what I mean, which is why I won't judge. Let's hold on until we get a better scoop and then we can jump to all the conclusions we want.

well in TS3, Sims lives look like they'll be a littl emore interesting.
with the seamless neighbourhood and all. (seems like everybody forgot about that!
)
