How do you get & what is karma? I know what it is, just not to sure what it is here. lol

When people like something you say, or when you do something helpful, people can award you karma in the form of a "hooray!"
When people don't like something you say, or if you were rude, people can take away karma in the form of a "no way!"
The buttons (links) are under 'karma' in the member's profile box on the left side.

I have a question. I see the Karma box, but I have no option to give or take away. Do you have to have a certain number of posts?

I see! You don't need to go to the person profile. While you're on the thread (like the way you'll be while reading this) look to the far left. On the side you'll see something along the same lines as what you described, but the information will be condensed. There will also be two links to give and take away karma.

I read somewhere that you need to post 10 times before you can give and take Karma, so she might not be able to see the Hooray! and No Way! buttons yet. I could be wrong though.
