*doesnt read any of the topic*

I tihnk it is dumb for the US.  We make a big deal out of it, and only 30 people have it!!  Why cant we close off the people who have it, or make a vaccine!?!?!

Re: Swine Flu - BroadwayBeckons - 28-04-2009 04:11 PM

Vaccines take months to create.

Re: Swine Flu - b-rad - 28-04-2009 04:29 PM

Quarinine the infected people until the vaccine is made.

Re: Swine Flu - ZePrincess - 28-04-2009 04:34 PM

And leave them alone to fend for themselves?

Re: Swine Flu - matt - 28-04-2009 04:38 PM

Speaking of quarantine, if everybody in the world stayed in their homes (or away from one another) for a week, imagine the amount of illnesses that would die out as they couldn't be passed on to someone else!

Obviously that's never going to happen, but does the logic make sense?! ???

Hopefully this swine fever will be like bird flu and will just calm down and be forgotten in a few weeks when the media move onto something else.
