Re: Older players - Silver - 29-05-2008 02:19 AM im 14 but i dont have a problem with older people you know it could do them sum good if they play the sims
Re: Older players - shay.x - 01-06-2008 12:02 AM No, the Sims generally is for 14/15/16 year olds. I'm 16, and all my friends and I are obsessed. Re: Older players - killerkenya - 01-06-2008 12:10 PM hmm, i dont think that 14/15/16 is an old player at all, considering a few of my friends over the years parents have become addicted too haha. i also dont really think its a 14/15/16 year old game, thats just the age group that seems to have more time [and patience] to play. i am almost 18, i graduate in a week, and i plan on playing the sims until i get settled and get internet set up again in my new house. i tried getting into it after a long break by playing in on my ancient desktop that turns off whenever it feels like it or has problems loading anything. i refurnished the same house twice and my comp gave out on me so i havent tried since. i get into a frenzy and never stop to save. i only have 2 friends who are obsessed, and a couple that have played. but a lot of my friends got into world of warcraft which of course, is a completely different kind of game so we end up having arguments about which game is better haha. i would put it on my laptop, but im addicted to other games that are harder to admit to than the sims. aka, pokemon diamond and zoo tycoon 2. well, everyone knows i play pokemon, but i dont get into detail. but zoo tycoon 2, is strictly hush hush haha. and its on my laptop and i try not to have more than one game installed at a time so i still havent found the courage to say goodbye to my zoos. besides, reading SO much about the sims 3 makes the sims 2 kind of seem boring... haha. i wrote a LOT. but, im sure there are others with similar situations haha. -kenyaaa Re: Older players - shay.x - 02-06-2008 05:20 AM ^Wow haha. Big post for a little thing
Re: Older players - killerkenya - 02-06-2008 05:24 AM haha i knowww. but eh. i type a lot. :] besides, its not a big deal to me, but it is for younger players. and in my opinion, most of the people speaking in this post are younger players. the sims is no baby game, and anyone under about 16/17/18 is a young player to me :] -kenya http://securom.sublimesims.net/ go to that link, learn something and fight EA on secuROM! Re: Older players - CupcakesandPlumbobs - 02-06-2008 01:44 PM People over 40 plays Sims. I'm 17, the game is teen rated. So young kids unde the age of 12-13 shouldn't even play. My friends know of this habit call Sims, actually a lot of them have played themselves, most haven't played since the original series days, but with TS3 not far off, their excited. I need to warn some of SecuROM though.... But don't worry what your friends think of the game, if they get all issued with you because you play Sims just tell them that their missing out on the awesome. Re: Older players - dejadejavu - 03-06-2008 04:17 PM Yea, I'm 18 and I play. The sims demographic goes all the way up into the 60s so by no means is it a 14/15/16 year old game. Plus think of all the money that is made off of the sims from CC paysites. Those things are being made by older people with lots of computer skills and experience with business. The Sims Resource probably makes MAD money. Re: Older players - BitterReality - 03-06-2008 08:49 PM I'm 16 and I play =D My grandma tried to play the other day; She managed to load sims, then gave up x Re: Older players - shay.x - 04-06-2008 01:00 AM (23-03-2008 12:07 PM)charlokitty link Wrote:Im 10 and I can play up to all day long.Yeah but 10 is young lol.
