I think it would be sweet if the sims' stomach was bigger depending on how many kids she was having. Even though I don't like twins (as you all know), it would be nice to know beforehand. It would also be funny to watch my look of horror as I saw the bigger stomach size...as I realized it was my fate to have a bunch of miserably busy sim days ahead.

I'd like different stomach sizes too! If they did put triplets in (I'm starting to sound a little obsessed, aren't I?), how big woud the stomach be lol? :o And it's going to be funny when a fat Sim gets pregnant, because we're not going to be able to even see she's pregnant!

That could be sooooo true. There was this one story about a heftier woman (really hefty) who went to the doctor with severe stomach cramps...turned out she was like 7 or so months pregnant. Imagine the shock!

I feel like in the sims they'd be a little bit more sensitive about that. But seriously...how are we going to be able to tell. l personally don't plan on having any obese sims...just a little extra cushion for my simmies, so I guess it won't affect me.

Well I'm going to try and make all different sized Sims to make it more realistic. However I've said this before but I do have this obsession with beautiful Sims. But I'll definately make at least one obese Sim, to try it out. I don't want to appear unsensitive about this I'm just curious is all. Becase well, that's how it is. You can't tell when a really fat person is pregnant looks-wise, so I just want to know how they're working on that. It would be nice I guess, if there was an option where they could WooHoo and get pregnant without us knowing, and then if it was an obese Sim and we couldn't see she was pregnant, she'd just pop out a baby or 2 (or three!) and we'd be like, "What the HECK?!".

Lol, I meant looks-wise, you know. :Smile But it would be cool if they could get pregnant without you knowing...

I agree with you, I mean uhoh's do happen.. lol! In TS1 you ran the chance of getting pregnant just by whoohooing. I used to make them whoohoo until I heard the music and new she was pregnant. I think I heard music, it has been awhile since I play TS1

u don't get preg in TS1.... u just kiss and along comes a cradle.

Ooh, yeah! If I'm honest with you, I never even thought of that... It gets really annoying 'cause you think your sims just having one kid 'cause the stomach size isn't any bigger, but then these two babies explode out (OK, explode is the wrong word) and you're like "What?! WHY?! I only have room for one!"

That's exactly what I think. Pregnancy stomach size variety all the way! Big Grin

I read once that it has something to do with your Sim's personality, too. Like, if you have a family aspired Sim, you're more likely to get twins.

You can get that in Freetime EP, it is really cool, but I didn't find out until my starter couple were about to turn into elders, and I absolutely hate drinking the potion that gives them three more days to be young. I hate raising kids younger than teens by elders, elders have to go to the bathroom sooo often.

Ooh, something's just clicked! When people keep saying if you're Sim is family aspired they're more likely to get twins, they're on about the aspriration benefits that come with Freetime, right? The ones that increase your chances? I thought they just meant if your Sim is just plain Family aspired, the chances of twins improve. I was going to say, because that theory has never proved true for me.

of course there'll be pregnancies!
hopefully they'll make it so that you have triplets instead of twins.

Re: Pregnant sims 3 - Cassie - 30-03-2008 12:45 AM

Instead of twins? Aswell as lol, not instead of. Twins are more common than triplets, we've got to have twins! I love twins! I think the reason I'm obsessed is because I was one, but my sister died at birth. But I don't want to go depressing everyone, so anyway, singletons, twins and triplets should all be possible in TS3, definately. Smile
