I wud like to see:

grounding
sleepovers
parents picking and dropping off kids
after school care
tests such as math test or spelling test that they have to prepare for
chores
and maybe not hw every single day cuz its kinda a painĀ

Id say adding aging groups between them and not evolve to a teen like sims2 Smile It wud also be fun to let them have tests or summer vacation or sumthin like that. Smile

Also, I wish they would act a little bit more /childish/.

A thought, this... I saw as one of the traits 'childish.'

What if a child had this trait? Would it not manifest itself until the child was older? Or would it be there, and the kid would be extra-childish?

There was never a playground or anything as a community lot. There were swings, but that's about it. No slides or see-saws...

They should add that to the game. Perhaps kids who stayed inside and watched TV/played videogames all day would get fat. Tongue

I know they will have all those traits to choose from but I remember reading that the preggo sims pass on the traits that they acted during their pregnancy, so if mom is naughty, most likely the baby will but I think as they grow older you can choose (maybe on a birthday) how they will be the rest of their lives because I totally can't see a toddler with a 'work-a-holic' trait, but I can see them being picky and only liking veggies or so, or maybe notBig Grin

There should definately be some sort of punishment, a bad sim child needs to be kept in line some kind of way. Maybe even adding on to adoption can be a good idea, if kids are unmanagable, a sim parent can put them up for adoption (sad, but a reality) and that child will grow up with that over his head, and may bump into his parents which they say will affect a sim. One of the articles said that a divorced sim can run into their ex going shopping and this will/can affect them.

i like the idea of kids getting fat from sitting inside all day, and maybe they can get body points and get skinnier when they play tag or something 8)
