Re: Favourite TV show? - ChalyssaMuch - 30-04-2008 06:13 AM i've never seen ugly betty mostly because i dont watch much tv.. but something i noticed about lmn ( thats who airs it right..lifetime network?) they go a little far with things..and usually in a false sense.. like i tried watching queen sized...but it was so unrealistic in this generation..that I couldnt watch it because it was so overdone and not true Re: Favourite TV show? - bambigoddess - 30-04-2008 03:49 PM I've never watched Ugly Betty, either...and I don't plan to start watching it any time soon.

[/quote] My girlfriend makes me watch that. Cassie, have you seen any of Britain's Next Top Model?! Clearly the budgets isn't the same as the American version! ??? The best show on TV has to be House!! {thumbsup} Re: Favourite TV show? - bambigoddess - 30-04-2008 04:22 PM Definitely, Matt! Although I must admit, I have quite a few favourites. But House is certainly among them. Got to love it, really.
Re: Favourite TV show? - matt - 30-04-2008 04:26 PM The second series just started over here in the UK a few weeks ago. You'd never know Hugh Laurie is English, he is pure genius! Re: Favourite TV show? - bambigoddess - 30-04-2008 04:29 PM He really is. Yes, the UK is quite behind...the second season is already on DVD over here. I had to catch up rather quickly when I moved here.
Re: Favourite TV show? - Cassie - 30-04-2008 04:33 PM America is lucky, it gets everything first. That is partly why I plan to move there. {tongue} Re: Favourite TV show? - bambigoddess - 30-04-2008 04:34 PM The UK gets British stuff first. ![]() But yes, in general, America gets stuff first. Re: Favourite TV show? - Cassie - 30-04-2008 04:41 PM Although, I did hear HSM3 will be released here, first. Is this true? And actually, British don't really get British stuff first. Harry Potter films, for example, are nearly always released in America first. Britain and America often share British release dates, rather than Britian get British stuff first.EDIT: Before you say, I realise WB are American, but still... the film is 'British.' {unsure} |
