Re: Harry Potter - Official Thread 2! - Cassie - 22-11-2009 02:32 AM We had a couple before but they died a looong time ago. You can make one if you want. :] I think you should read Twilight, when you're done with HP of course.

I think I've found my best friend xD THANK YOUUU :3 Haha. Nahh I like Twilight cause of the non obsessed loving guys.[and girl] ;D But anywho. Harry Potter is more in depth. & has life lessons. Or am I the only one who finds life lessons in books? XD @ Steven. We had one. Then hated Stephenie, because after she got money. She ate her heart out. u_u Re: Harry Potter - Official Thread 2! - serp3821 - 22-11-2009 02:33 AM maybe I will read Twilight but first HP I want to read all the popular books at the moment so then I can relate Re: Harry Potter - Official Thread 2! - gothika - 22-11-2009 02:35 AM (22-11-2009 02:33 AM)@Steven! link Wrote:maybe I will read TwilightBleh. No offense. But I can NOT stand people who read books out of popularity. It's annoying. I never read Twilight cause people did. The plot at first was stupid when I heard about it,but my friend begged me to read it. It's okay. Re: Harry Potter - Official Thread 2! - serp3821 - 22-11-2009 02:38 AM i read them for popularity because thats what get me into books and i want to read HP because it sounds so good and almost everyone has read them so I have gotten influenced and the only 'popular' books that I wanna read are the Twilight ones thats all! I never look at 'best sellers' Re: Harry Potter - Official Thread 2! - bobert26 - 22-11-2009 02:41 AM I've read them because my teacher read us Philosiphers Stone when I was little. Re: Harry Potter - Official Thread 2! - Cassie - 22-11-2009 02:42 AM EDIT; Yeah I'm five posts late now. {rolleyes} LOL yeah, there's always morals and life lessons in books, and soemtimes even movies, although you don't always knowingly digest it. ![]() I think the reason I like HP better is because; 1) I grew up with it. I can't just exchange this love of a series that I've had for such a long time for some new franchise. Like I say, I don't hate Twilight anymore. Don't love it, don't hate it. 2) I can relate to the characters in HP, and I'm incredibly fond of them all. I can't really relate to many of the issues in Twilight. 3) I like the feeling of connectivity and the world that HP provides. It's like an escape. Hogwarts is like a fictional, second home. 4) I obviously have a natural pulling toward wizards over vampires or werewolves. ![]() 5) HP is a million times more intricate and in-depth. There's obviously an exhausting amount of work put into the HP books. 7) It's prominently more original than Twilight. 6) I like reading the characters grow and mature. You read/watch them grow up. I love this element. Okay and I'm done. There are more reasons, but these are the ones that jump at me. Re: Harry Potter - Official Thread 2! - serp3821 - 22-11-2009 02:42 AM to pick up girls? i never thought of that {rolleyes} thanks [removed] ![]() J/K, I won`t do that I`m going to get all the HP books out right now and they`re back in my closet downstairs in a box.. I feel bad ![]() I think they have collected dust over time...
