what you do is set up a small allowance thing. Tell your mom that if you do the laundry every day for a month, you should get $5-20 depending on the strictness or socioeconmic status of your parents.

i get payed $2 per hour for baby sitting per kid (i am broke)
you could babysit for more than $2 per hour

At Christmas, all of the rih and important adults have dinner with my loaded (somewhat) grandparents., The guests ask me to babysit them upstairs, and watch over them. There were about 8 kids, ranging from about 3 to 9. I made around $25 bucks. If your parents have dinner parties and the guest bring kids, you can watch them. Also, if you are a video game junkie and have lots of nintendo games you don't play, sell them at gamestop, even the systems you don't play. If you have a neighbor gardening, ask if you can volunteer fo a small price (less than 5 dollars) If they agree, help plant flowers, water stuff, and dig. It's really not that hard, I help my grandpa with out pay.
