To prevent complete disappointment when EA almost inevitably pushes back their release date, I usually say it'll come out in 2010. That way if it comes out in 2009, it'll be a awesome. But if it comes out in 2010 then you're already mentally prepared for it. We heard about Spore in 2005? 2006? And it's coming out this year in September. Just gives you something to keep in mind. I would rather them release it later to make sure that they get as much in it and to make sure it is as bug free as possible.

It says "fourth quarter of 2008" on a site where we can pre order it here in Sweden.

My guess is november, because it's the month before christmas. EA would then sell a lot more games than they would in march.
