First I've heard of that movie, but looks really good! I'm a sucker for special effects and action films so I'll no doubt see it. The concept is a scary one, but you really shouldn't worry about it, because if it were to happen, there is nothing we can do anyway! {blink}

Day After Tomorrow = LOVE!!! I first saw it when I was 8, and about pooped myself {blink} But now its AWESOME!!!
The thing you are talking about with the woman's skin things, its not The Massacre thing. Its a movie were this creep takes fat women, starves them, and wears theirs skin.
This movie might be SOMEWHAT like Day After Tomorrow, lots of affects and stuff, but with a storyline as well

It reminds me a bit of the movie "Center of the Earth', where a team would go inside the Earth and try to make the nucleum move again, otherwise the ozone layer would break (and there were some scenes where it did) and everything would melt.
and to freak out(not): My lifeline is waaay too long to die at only 26! {lol} rofl.

Oooh, this reminds me of a few months back when we were all talking about this theory and I started freaking a couple people out. {lol}
I never knew they were making a film about it. It looks EPIC.
Sadly and not surprisingly the trailer does nothing to ease my fear that we're all gonna meet our non-existent graves in 2 years time. {rolleyes}
Oh well... least I get to see the last HP film...

Yes and no. When I first heard it I did a lot of research on it [yes, yes, sad I know... I was intrigued]. It's not just the Mayan Calender, you do know that the solar system will be moving through the milky way on December 21st 2012, so as of now we view the milky way from the North, we shall then be viewing it from the South... it's a very long and complicated thing that I'm too lazy to go into, but basically, this has never happened before if IRC, or has not happened for thousands upon thousands of years, that's for sure, and causes some Scientists and whatnot some concern.
But I don't think the world's gonna end, just reborn as such. Yes I'm a believer in the strange, leave me be.
