Re: TheSims4? - serp3821 - 26-04-2009 04:39 AM

so everyone was playing in a single game
like a virtual world?

Re: TheSims4? - Majick - 26-04-2009 04:43 AM

It was like The Sims, but it was done online, sort of like how TS3 is going to be, but instead of NPCs and Townies, all the other Sims were ACTUAL people.

It was weird and ... lame, tbh.

I will admit it got bored after a 3 months rofl.

Re: TheSims4? - serp3821 - 26-04-2009 04:45 AM

never played it

Re: TheSims4? - Majick - 26-04-2009 04:46 AM

I played it for all of a week.  With my sister and her at the time fiance.  It was pretty cool for like ... a day.  But they had to constantly do updates because it was online, and the updates took HOURS because back then Dial-Up was the only real option for a lot of people.

Re: TheSims4? - serp3821 - 26-04-2009 04:46 AM

oh i know
I hated dial-up
it sucked
and then you couldn't use the phone
now you can so its changed.

Re: TheSims4? - Majick - 26-04-2009 04:47 AM

Yeah.  But again, the game lagged horribly due to the Dial-Up, and the updates were horrid.  Made it not worth playing IMO.  I would be willing to try it again, if they did like a 30 day free trial if they ever got it to work right.

Re: TheSims4? - serp3821 - 26-04-2009 04:49 AM

so what would it be if EA did the same thing again with TS3 or 4?
will ppl still play?

Re: TheSims4? - Majick - 26-04-2009 04:51 AM

Like I said, if it had a 30 day free trial, I'd try it at the very least.
