I went to Gamespot today to pre-ordered TS3 and the lady looked it up and was like "It came out today" and I was like {woot} and then she looked back at the computer screen and goes "Oh wait, it comes out Feb. 21"... What a teaser. {glare}

ya, when I think about it, it probably won't be hard to get a copy opening day, but I like to be sure to have one just because I know that life can surprise you and I would be sooo disappointed if the store didn't have it.

I pre-ordered mine a couple days ago for in store pick up at the EB store, I ordered the collectors edition but I'm starting to regret it b/c I heard some people are going to get the regular edition and get the full prima guide for $20 and that's pretty much the same amount as the collectors edition combined and I'm only getting it for the hints and cheats guide i don't really care for the usb or the car. I thought that the guide that was included with the collectors edition was the full prima guide but it's not

I'm sorry, I hate it when I think something will be something that it is not. But at least you do get a sports car even if you don't really care for it...plus, if nothing else, you can use the USB to store all your sims stuff!

I guess I can make the best of it, b/c I don't think i'm going to pay $90 just to add the prima guide, they should have made it clear if the guide in the collectors edition was really the prima guide, I had no idea about the prima guide until I read it on another forum I was thinking that the guide included was the prima guide lol..oh well {no}

ya, I think they could have clarified that the special guide that comes with TS3 is NOT the prima guide, just a guide that has more than the basic game but less than the prima. But I'm glad I helped you feel better, the CE isn't too bad it's just that when you expect something different, then it doesn't seem as great.
Although I bet if you wanted to you could cancel your order and then go and order the regular edition instead.

oh yea I probably could!
we only had to pay $5 up front, i'm sure they will let me pre-order the prima guide and the regular version and it will still come out as the same price as the collectors edition so their not really losing money..thanks a lot for the idea!
