That's not how I see Addy in my head personally, but I like everyone to be free to picture people as you wish.
In my head she's Sky Ferreira with auburn hair.

Her hair plays a huge role for me. Wild, fiery hair.
As for the conversation with her dad, I totally agree, I had some troubles with that part. I'll try to revise it. I found it hard because I dislike her dad as a character. I like writing dialogue between characters that interest me.

Yeah. As I was writing Adalyn and thinking of her hair, Sky just stuck. But it's a totally different colour in my head. She's got a very unique look about her, which is what I was going for.
Sky's clearly pretty, but not the 'obvious' kind. That's Addy for you.

This is seriously beyond some novels I've read. Better than twilight I bet. xD
But this is really amazing. I was so captivated too. I don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but was this based partly on you're own life? Becuase Addy reminds me of your friend Chole a bit & Shay reminds me of you. (:

Karma for reading and commenting. Did I forget to Karma anyone? Oh, and I was wondering if someone would ask me that.
Shay is completely from my own mind with pieces of characters I know from other fandoms and books. There's a piece of me in Shay [witty, sarcastic] but there's a part of me in Addy [withdrawn, uncomfortable with life etc]. But don't read these characters as though this is based on my life or that I'm Addy/Shay, because it's not.
And I don't think there's any particular part of Chloé in the characters, no.
I'll post Chapter 2 tomorrow or Sunday, and this thread along with Chapter 2 will be in the Regulars Board. =]
