My friend Melissa's middle name is Beth, and she hates it. And I have to agree, it does not work well with the rest of her name at all.

Melissa Beth...eh, it's not terrible. Depends on the last name, really. But I agree, there are better combinations.

I prefer Bethany/Bethanie over Beth, personally. But...to each their own.
