I am definitely nervous about having them age at the same time because say i play one family for a long time... when i go to the next family they'll all be old and i won't have played them!

yeah i agree that is gunna bug me...i really hope they do make it so that you can go into setting or something and switch it off...but i guess we will get used to it after a while?
