I agree too, but at least there were more explanations and understandings this time around.  I'm happy to just get that out of it.

I heard those questions came from people on some website...why do people ask the same, tired questions, like "Can we change breast size?"  (But also because Grant would only say, "I can't say nothing on that yet.")

I want to hear more about the save slots they only mentioned once.

Ghost babies do suck, I agree with Jen.  I do not plan on playing any ghosts or having ghost babies.  I tend to play on reality like no supernatureals...once a sim is gone, they're gone.  I'm the usual tombstone deleter too.

They posted that one in two places, that's the only explaination

Yeah I defiantley, I agree with steven, why cant they update the website with at least a video or something but you have to take in to account that if they keep revealing more stuff then we wont have any suprises. But still.... if they can at least gives us a picture or something to keep us guessing and wondering.

I'd really love if they'd release a video that went a little more in depth about customizing clothes and hair.  Like, I know with hair you can actually do more than one color now, and I think it would be interesting to see the different kinds of combinations you could come up with, and how that will effect the babies when two parents might have multiple colored hair.

i ask myself the same question. will babies get born with a default color, or will it have purple hair if the mom's hair is red and the dad's hair is blue?

Re: Online Transcript: Grant Rodiek - sims3luva22 - 02-05-2009 10:55 PM

I would assume that it would be the sims 2. Who's ever the most dominant, wins. For example, a blonde parent and a red haired parent either have red haired kids or blonde. Red is usally more dominant but it all depends on who has the stronger genes. I had this happen recently in my game. I had two blonde haired parents have 2 red headed babies because one of the parents of the blondes had red hair and it skipped a generation because the blonde gene between the two parents wasn't strong enough. Its like in real life, two blue eyed parents couldn't have a brown eyed baby unless their parent's genes were stronger and perhaps one had blue eyes. Its how men used to be able to tell if their spouse had been with someone else or not. {rolleyes}

I would assume that if you had a crazy blue haired mother and black haired father, the children would either ALL have black hair since black is a dominant color, or possibly blue. If not- their grandchildren may have it.

Re: Online Transcript: Grant Rodiek - Cassie - 03-05-2009 11:53 AM

I've been thinking about this too. I hope they stick to the dominant pattern like they did in TS2, as that reflects real life. I hope it's a bit more possible to break the chain though, like, if you have a blonde-haired parent and a black-haired parent, sure, the possibility of having a blonde child is very slim but it is not impossible, I should know, I'm proof. Yet in my game, it proved impossible for me.

Although, I saw a picture of a family, the dad had darker blonde hair, the mum had an unnaturally light shade of blonde hair, and both daughters had the lighter shade. So that made me think, it was either just a rare case of the recessive genes winning both times, are the game really just randomly selects hair colour.
