I'm thinking that they'll give us a new video/blog Thursday update next week. I assume they all are still on vacation, (which they deserve). I am getting tired hearing about the bands myself, its just music for crying out loud - give us some more juicy details on the game. {clap}

I know, I see the title, then check out the article. Once I find out it's a band, I feel like I'd wasted my time and go back on here, or if it's dry on here, go read other forums. Then if nothing on nothing, I'd go study Spanish or do something.
Hopefully, everything goes on track though. Like the creator's camp and stuff. People were invited and stuff, and the plans were made....then all those promotional codes we have from the game to unlock the car and designs that have to be used on certain dates...it would be hard to break that. Like they have to be used between Feb. 22 and April. If they delay, they have to overextend the promotions, but they cannot cancel them...like people would be mad if the game was delayed, and their car code ends up obselete.

ya, that would make for some very irritated fans. I'm thinking though that Scene23 is right and they probably still are on vacation spending time with thier families. But Thursday next week sounds resonable to me. I mean by next thursday the game will be like a month and two weeks away!

I have to admit that this month is passing by pretty fast. It is already gonna be Jan 3rd tomorrow.
I think that they went back to work, like everyone does on the 26th till the 29th at least. Businesses don't usually close like a school does for the holidays. They probably are catching up and trying to prepare us with an update.
I know there isn't gonna be that big update that everyone wants that will tell us everything...they want us to stay curious enough to buy the game.
EA is really nice. I am also keeping track of this new pokemon game, Pokemon is also kind of nice about updating, but they don't. They may only tell little things, and it would be around release date, then the fansites play Japanese pokemon games, and post news about the upcoming game, but the company doesn't really update the fans.
EA is a really generous company. The Sims are great games to wait for. I have had a great experience waiting for The Sims, and being on this forum and stuff. It would be a year in...I think I registered in March or April. I think April...idk.

same here, I registered here early and have loved every experience from Bambi's getting to go to that huge conference to staying up late here just because I love talking about sims! I can't wait and because I have waited so long spending the 50-60ish dollars they want for the game won't seem so bad.

EDIT: Yeah, the $70 I'm paying plus the $20 for the guide won't be nothing to me. I get free college, and it would be paycheck time and college refund season, so I wouldn't care. I don't really buy much anyways. I could pay for it now, but I am lazy...

Looks: White (a bit pinkish looking) blonde curly short hair, light blue eyes, quite skinny, wears tacky and skimpy clothes, nothing usually matches.
Boy Higgins
Age: Adult
Traits: Slob, Loves the outdoors, Hot- Headed, Unlucky and Childish
Looks: really pale, shaved head, grey eyes, very skinny, wears vests and jeans, nothing else suits him he says.
Hurley Higgins
Age: Child
Traits: Genius, Playful and Bookworm
Looks: Smart- looking with glasses, curly blonde hair, a mix of his father and mother's eyes, likes to wear clothes that are cool even though people call him a dork.
Bio:
The Higgins family aren't really the sharpest people around, exept for their super smart son, Hurley who is nothing like his parents!
Hurley sometimes thinks their is a family waiting for him to come through their door, but he looks so much like his mother that he just forgets it.
Hurley just wants to move out of their tacky house and look better.
Will Hurley be able to sort his family out or will they just be "The Trash" of the neighbourhood?

I finally dug up my sims3 box I created in march except most of the info was scattered all over my room.
I have so many stories consisting of singles, couples and families. Here are a few I plan on sneaking into my game from time to time.
Singles :
Oleg Stanislovsky- Commitment issues, Easily bored, Perfectionist, Flirty, daredevil.
Bio: Oleg is the first generation Russian son of a Russian mobster. When he was just a boy, his mother escaped a bloody future with Oleg and his sister Lora to Sunset Valley. 50,000,000 simoleons in tow stolen from his fathers safe.
They live a very rich but low key lifestyle in Sunset Valley but Oleg's reputation is starting to shatter their snow white appearance.
Oleg has it all, piercing sky blue eyes, high cheekbones, full lips, chiseled abs and a hard err accent to go with it.
He's a charmer but never gets too close. His commitment issues definitely assures him to move on to the next sim and his daredevil antics keeps the cops well on his trail.
Though with Oleg's type of money, he needs no job but SV can get a tad bit boring to this easily bored fellow. One night he gets a call to be involved with the towns local shady crime mob and Oleg starts to take the bait. Little does he know that Mom has ears everywhere and assumes his father from Russia may be behind this and wants to plot his revenge.
Young adult btw. Lol.

Oleg's sisters name is Lorna btw and she too is a young adult.
