I'm getting it next week! I still play Sims 2, and I don't know if I will buy Sims 3 in february or if I will wait to see what others think of it, if it has bugs or have SecuRom problems..  Smile

There's not a lot of new items, but I've seen some changes in my gameplay.

Like, if you have a bookcase, and your sim leaves  book laying around, that single book has new options: Physiology, Anger Management, Couples Theropy and one other, but i forget what it is.

You cannot chose to study these if you click on the book case, though.  You have to click on a book that's been left out, on the floor or table or wherever.

So that's kinda cool.

I also like the ceiling fans! I just with that they were LIGHTS, and not just Decorative Objects, ah well.

Ooooh okay.

My sims hardly ever leave their books lying around, so I didn't notice it until the other day.

I got M&G 2 days ago, and forgot to tell you guys!

It's awesome! There's new interaction, a new section in build mode, a non-cheating roof anguling thingie, and tons of new things, even some prettty nice hairstlyes, most of which are enabled for kids and teens! (yay)

I found there weren't as many plants as I expected, but they're extremely cool! I love the sunflowers! And the sloped roof things even hav ewindows to match (well, windows that work)

There's not much except decorative items in buy mode, but I assure you, this pack is AWESOME!!

The one thing I was disappointed with, was that they didn't give us any "demo" houses.

You know, premade homes in the lots bin.

I would have liked to see a Maxis-Made mansion as inspirtion. Ah well.

It's still a pretty good pack Smile

Re: mansion and garden pack - The Adam Diamond - 02-12-2008 05:59 AM

Yes, they did give us demo houses!!

there's 3 residential lots, 1 for each architectural style (i've only been in the moroccan one, and the floorplan is excellent!, and 1 community lot, which is some gardens. Smile

If you've got packaged or downloaded houses, you'll have to scroll through them, to get to the maxis houses.
