Re: twilight - FOBluvr987 - 21-09-2008 03:23 AM It gets kinda mature in the fourth one, but they're extremely sweet books. Re: twilight - Chanel - 21-09-2008 05:12 PM i dont care how mature it is. but can u answer one question? the book is like, huge. is it more than one little twilight book in one?
Re: twilight - phoebe91 - 21-09-2008 09:08 PM The huge book is all one book. There's no other books in the book. But you should see her book, The Host. THAT book is huge. Re: twilight - Chanel - 21-09-2008 09:16 PM whoa, okay. bring on the big books i like bigger books because they give me something to read for a long time. i finish junior novels in less than a day, so i like thick books, because it doesnt feel like i wasted money on them.
Re: twilight - phoebe91 - 21-09-2008 09:21 PM Yeah, same here. Although it sometimes annoys me, I know that at least there's a lot of story inside of them. Re: twilight - Chanel - 21-09-2008 09:23 PM these kind of books take me a month or two to read. when i was in 5th grade i wanted to read the 5th harry potter book so i could compare it to the movie, and i did. it has a LOT more than the movie! its the only HP book i decided to read, though. Re: twilight - phoebe91 - 21-09-2008 09:28 PM Oh, the 5th harry potter book, I had to read mostly in one night x.x. Never do that, it isn't worth it. I had to do it for a book report in 7th grade... only that I could have gotten away with it without reading the book in the first place. But since I read so much, the big books don't take me very long anymore. 1-2 weeks at the longest is how long it takes me to read 800 pages, roughly. and even then I can finish it way before then. I don't know what happened to me and slow reading. I kinda want it back so that I can enjoy the book more. That's the one problem with reading fast, you can't enjoy it very much. Re: twilight - b-rad - 21-09-2008 10:07 PM yeah plus you miss a lot Chanel the books are always better than the movie always remember that Re: twilight - Chanel - 21-09-2008 10:21 PM brad is right. the start of the story is always better than something cut up to be 2 hours long. take a series of unfortunate events, for example. i was upset when i saw the movie was only books 1, 2 and 3. oh, and book 3 doesnt end with count olaf getting away. i dont even think book 13 did! i didnt really pay attention to books 12 and 13, because i was trying to compete with my best friend to see who could finish first. ah well, i can always read them again
